Introducing The Trump Gold Card

Understanding the Trump Gold and Platinum Cards

Exclusive programs for permanent & business residency

A new expedited residency‑by‑investment program aimed at wealthy individuals and corporations has been created by the Trump administration to offer Gold and Platinum cards to foreign nationals. The Trump Gold Card and Trump Platinum Card programs have been designed to raise substantial funds exceeding $100 billion in contributions from applicants. These new gold and platinum visa programs are intended to drive revenue and are positioned as exclusive expedited entry points for wealthy investors around the globe, providing them with an opportunity to establish U.S. residency.

How these cards differ from traditional visas

Unlike employment‑based visas such as EB‑1 or EB‑2, Trump Gold Cards have different requirements. Traditional U.S. visas are granted to applicants based on their family relationships, refugee or asylum status, advanced degree, or when sponsored by an employer. Long wait times and demanding application requirements are required when applying for a standard visa.

Trump Gold Cards are based solely on financial contributions and direct payments to the U.S. government and will bypass traditional visa requirements and instead include direct payments to the U.S. government. This program will allow wealthy foreign nationals to achieve permanent U.S. residency by making a substantial contribution of $1 million with expedited processing, along with work authorization privileges. A corporation can sponsor a foreign national for $2 million.

The Platinum Gold Card doesn’t provide a pathway to U.S. citizenship, requires congressional approval, and requires a contribution of $5 million. It allows the foreign national to spend up to 270 days in the U.S., along with tax advantages on non-U.S. income.

The Trump Gold Card – A Path to Residency and Business Entry

$1 Million investment option for U.S. permanent residency

If you’re seeking a quicker path to U.S. residency, the Trump Gold Card could be your fast-track route. Gold card requirements include thorough Department of Homeland Security vetting, proof that you have $ 1 million investment contribution, and the ability to pass official criminal, security, and health checks before you are approved. Your eligibility also depends on visa availability, which varies based on your nationality. Applicants from specific countries may face delays based on quotas.

$2 Million investment option for business entry and employee sponsorship

Corporations that want to sponsor specific foreign employees into the United States with residency rights can do so by paying $2 million. This special gold card program is transferable and can be reassigned to another employee later without paying another $2 million. This allows multinational corporations to manage foreign talent while contributing significant funds to the U.S. Treasury department.

Why legal guidance is essential for Gold Card applicants

Since the Gold Card program is still evolving, expert immigration attorneys recommend that you get legal advice before you apply for the Gold Card. Working with a qualified lawyer can ensure all the specific requirements are met, guarding against sudden changes in immigration policy, and explaining how this program connects to current visa categories. Getting proper legal support will protect your financial contribution and ensure you receive the residency benefits of the specific program you apply for.

The Trump Platinum Card – Residency Without U.S. Taxes

$5 Million investment for up to 270 days in the U.S.

Applicants who can afford the $5 million investment to get this U.S. visa are exempt from paying taxes on any income earned outside of the U.S., making it an attractive investment if someone has global business interests. Visa holders can spend most of the year in the U.S., up to 270 days, with access to U.S. education, healthcare, American financial markets, and real estate. Congressional approval is still pending for the Trump Platinum Card program, but the Trump administration has already launched a federal website so interested applicants can add their names to a waitlist.

Key tax advantages and lifestyle benefits

Advantageous tax benefits are one of the main features of the Trump Platinum Card. The tax relief and residency benefits the Platinum card provides are highly exclusive for those who can afford it. Beyond tax benefits, the Platinum card gives visa holders time, access, and prestige, allowing longer stays in the U.S., entry into U.S. financial markets, and the ability to be part of an exclusive immigration program.

Protecting your investment with immigration counsel

Because the Platinum Card requires a high financial commitment for those who apply, it’s wise to work with experienced attorneys who can offer valuable legal advice about it. An experienced Immigration attorney can ensure you follow U.S. law, help protect your investment, and ensure you receive the benefits the Trump Platinum Card program promises. If you’re going to invest $5 million, you need a knowledgeable immigration attorney to protect your investment and one who can help you maximize the program’s rewards.

Who Qualifies for the Trump Gold or Platinum Card?

Eligibility requirements and background checks

To qualify for Platinum or Golden Card eligibility, applicants must have a high net‑worth or be a corporation that can make a $1 million contribution for the Gold Card, a $2 million for corporate sponsorship, or $5 million for the Platinum Card. To ensure only qualified candidates move forward in the process, only trustworthy applicants who pass immigration checks, background investigations, health inspections, and security screenings are approved. They must also verify they have the funds at their disposal.

Documentation and approval timelines

The application process starts with providing proof of identity, verification of the source of funds, and paying a non‑refundable fee. U.S. Immigration and the U.S. State Department review the required documents, and once the applicant has a clean background check and provides the contribution, the applicant is granted Gold Card residency, but it may still take months due to visa quotas. Getting a Trump Platinum Card will take longer because this program is pending Congressional authorization.

Risks of applying without legal representation

Because the Gold and Platinum Card programs are new and complex, applying without help from an immigration attorney is risky. Qualified U.S. attorneys can anticipate and handle potential legal obstacles, make sure you comply with U.S. immigration regulations, and guide you through the entire process. Without proper legal support, applicants risk facing long delays, rejected applications, and their financial investment if immigration rules change or their paperwork contains errors.

Why You Need an Immigration Attorney for These Programs

Due to the complex rules and complicated navigation process for the Trump Gold Card and Platinum Card programs, it’s strongly recommended that you get help from a knowledgeable immigration attorney when applying for these programs. They can ensure you avoid expensive mistakes that could lead to delays or denials. Skilled immigration attorneys understand how to comply with U.S. immigration and tax laws so your investment is protected.

Trump Gold & Platinum Card FAQs

What is a golden visa?

Instead of waiting years through traditional immigration channels, Golden visa applicants can gain the right to live in the U.S. by investing a large sum of money. It requires making a direct contribution to the government. In return, the investor is allowed Trump card benefits like permanent residency rights, the opportunity for tax breaks, and access to financial markets and education.

How much is a Trump gold card?

The Trump Gold Card is priced at $1 million, which is paid to the U.S. Treasury. This contribution is the minimum required for an applicant to qualify for permanent residency. An additional Gold Card sponsorship by a corporation costs $2 million.

How to apply for a Trump gold card?

To apply for a Trump Gold Card, you start the process online by providing your ID, verifying your finances, and paying a processing fee. Once you’ve completed eligibility and security checks, you can make the $1 million payment to finalize your residency.

Can you buy U.S. citizenship?

The Trump Gold Card doesn’t allow you to purchase citizenship outright, but it does grant you permanent residency in the U.S. after you make a $1 million contribution.

What is the difference between a green card vs. a gold card?

The difference between a green card vs. a gold card is how U.S. residency is earned. Gold cards provide affluent foreigners with a quicker route to residency, but require a sizable financial payment to the U.S. Treasury, while green cards are granted based on family ties, job, or refugee status. Both are legal entry points, but the gold card depends on a financial investment.

Is the Trump Gold Card the same as the EB-5 Visa?

The Trump Gold Card is not the same thing as an EB-5 visa. Those who apply for an EB-5 visa to get a green card must invest a minimum of $1,050,000 that creates at least 10 jobs in the U.S. To get approved for a Trump Gold Card, applicants make a direct $1 million contribution to the U.S. government without any job‑creation requirement. The EB‑5 visa stimulates the economy through job creation, while the Gold Card requires a monetary commitment.

Can my family also benefit from these programs?

The Trump Gold Card and Platinum card programs both offer benefits to immediate family members of applicants who are approved for residency and visas. Spouses and dependent children are included.

Do these cards guarantee permanent residency or citizenship?

U.S. citizenship isn’t automatic with a Trump Gold Card. Applicants still have to go through the normal naturalization process with the proper eligibility and security checks, as well as a $1 million payment. The Trump Platinum card option doesn’t qualify you for permanent citizenship; it provides you and your family the option to stay 270 days in the U.S for $ 5 million.

What happens if my application is denied?

If your Gold Card application is denied, you won’t receive permanent residency through this program. If the issues that led to the denial are corrected, you can reapply. If you receive a denial, you’ll need help from a qualified immigration attorney before you reapply.
