In many instances, immigrant clients have no success or make no progress in their various cases working with a prior attorney, and we are able to conduct a thorough review of past case work done by prior council. We often are able to find instances where clients had what is called “ineffective assistance of counsel”, which means their cases were not handled properly. In these situations we can re-open cases and if need be file various appeals. We are licensed to file appeals before the US Customs and Immigration Service as well as the Courts, including the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and Federal District Court in Southern California.
