The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service released new data on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applications that were received through January 17, 2013. The new statistics show a total of 394,533 DACA applications have been received by USCIS for processing, and 154,404 applications have been approved.
Most Deferred Action applications received have been submitted in California and the majority of the DACA applications received by USCIS have been from persons who originate from Mexico.
