The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service confirmed they issued procurement requests to Contractors for as many as 34 million cards. It is not known if it is specifically for permanent resident cards or employment authorization cards. Regardless, many believe it is a signal that the Obama Administration is preparing to announce the Obama Executive Action after the mid-term elections.
